NW Hamilton Insurance Services Ltd. was incorporated on 27 October 1999 and licensed under the Insurance Ordinance 1989 on 17 November 2000 as an Insurance Agency and Brokerage firm in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The company is led by its Managing Director and principal owner, Norman W. Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton is a Turks and Caicos Islander who has over 25 years experience in the insurance industry in the Turks and Caicos, and the United States where he started his career in 1986 as a Florida Licensed Commercial Insurance Adjuster. Mr. Hamilton holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He is assisted in the management of the firm by professional and competent staff.

NW Hamilton Insurance Services Ltd., located at Suite # 3, The Arch Plaza, 128 Thompson Cove Road, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands is the Managing General Agent in the Turks and Caicos Islands for United Insurance Company Limited of Bridgetown, Barbados. United Insurance is rated A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best Inc. the world’s premier insurance rating agency, and one of the Caribbean largest and most respected insurers operating in fourteen countries in the Caribbean and Central America. NW Hamilton offers all classes of general insurances including Property (Private Dwellings and Commercial Property), Accident, Liability, Motor, Marine, and Engineering through United Insurance Company Limited.

NW Hamilton Insurance Services Ltd is also Agents for Colina Insurance Ltd. Colina Insurance is the largest Life & Health Insurance Company in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, with operations in the Cayman Islands and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Noted for its strength and commitment Colina Insurance Limited is an industry leader that prides itself on maintaining an AM Best Inc. rating of A-(Excellent). Through Colina, NW Hamilton offer customers across the Turks and Caicos Islands individual and group Life and Health, and Annuities products backed by unsurpassed service.

In association with Lloyd´s Brokers, London, we have the ability to arrange specialty insurance coverage such as, Professional Indemnity, Director & Officers Liability, Aviation Hull & Liability and Commercial Marine, and Yacht. These Lloyd´s facilities are generally used when the local market does not have the capacity or facilities to handle such risks. The companies and syndicates used are all first class security.

In addition to its main office in Providenciales, NW Hamilton Insurance maintains an Agent in North Caicos, and is represented in Grand Turk by Sub-Agent, V & G Services, located at Franklyn Missick Building, Suite 2, Church Folly, Grand Turk.

NW Hamilton Insurance Services Ltd. is insured at Lloyd’s for their professional liability (Errors and Omissions) up to US$1,000,000.00.
